Solidarity Trust

Since the genesis of the One River Tea Cooperative, we have always asked ourselves "How are we helping our partner farms overcome their domestic limitations".  While this is worry is easy to assuage with the fadt that we're simply buying their products, we want to extend the opportunity for them to reap the same benefits we do by participating in the global economy.  We strive to question what is fair trade and strive to pass on our earnings directly to the makers of the tea in a more meaningful way than simple financial support.  Thus, we have created the Solidarity Trust, and initiative build upon profit sharing with partner farms, dividends and payouts to land owners, farmers, pickers, and makers alike.
